Most powerful mobile phone processor
Basically, chipset and processor are different things but smartphone processor always come as system on a chip (SOC), which is combination of chipset and cpu.
Currently the chipset, A11 Bionic (Apple), Snapdragon 845(Qualcomm), Exynos 9810(Samsung) and Hisilicon kirin 970(Huawei) are in the race of most powerful mobile prpcespro. Apple is doing perfect work with it’s own chipset, Qualcomm is a supplier to most manufacturers, while Samsung and Huawie manufacture their own Chipset. But Samsung use snapdragon chipset also. Which could be the best processor let’s see.
Apple’s A11 bionic chip is much ahead than all the Chipset with margin of more than 10000 score obtained in Geekbench for the multi-core test results.
The Apple’s A11 Bionic chip is the most powerful mobile phone processor ever in the mobile phone, which is 30% faster than previous Apple’s A10 fusion chip used in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus. A11 bionic chip powers the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 plus and iPhone X. The chipset is a six core CPU and Apple says this by promising 25% faster speeds on the two performance cores and four remaining high efficiency cores that promise up to a 70% faster performance.
According to Geekbench, the Apple’s A11 Bionic has been able to get 4204 points in the performance test for a single core, reaching 10165 points in the multi-core test.
The Snapdragon 845 is the most powerful android processor, which is made by Qualcomm. Snapdragon 845 is a high end and newest SoC for smartphones. It was introduced in early 2018 and manufactured in Samsung’s 10 nm LPP FinFET at TSMC. 10 nm LPP FinFET is second generation nm code. It is 10-percent higher performance or 15-percent lower power consumption than first generation. The 845 chip features a Kryo 385 CPU with clock speed of up to 2.8 GHz and Adreno 630 GPU which mean 30-percent more faster graphics performance and 30-percent more power efficient as compared to last snapdragon 835.
The Qualcomm promises a 25% uplift as compared to the previous snapdragon 835.
This Chipset is used in OnePlus 6, sonS xpeXpe XZ2/XZ2 Compact/XZ2 premium, Samsung Galaxg S9/S9 plus, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S and other premium flagships.

Samsung has it’s own flagship Exynos SoC and samsung also use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoC. We can see both processor Exynos 9810 and Snapdragon 845 in Samsung Galaxy S9 and galaxy S9 Plus.
The Exynos 9810 looks much ahead than Snapdragon 845 in benchmark tests, and it’s behind than Apple’s A11 Bionic chip. But Snapdragon 845 is, in real-life tests, faster than Exynos 9810. It takes less time to open apps in compared to Exynos 9810 in hands-on speed test.
The Exynos 9810 is built on Samsung’s 10nm FinFET LPP, it’s features octa-core CPU and it had GPU of Mali-g72.
Hisilicon Kirin 970
The Huawei’s Hisilicon Kirin 970 is also a high end processor but it’s less powerful than other newly introduced chipset. Kirin 970 is built using a Samsung’s 10 nm LPP FinFET like other premium chipset. It has an eight core CPU and a 12-core GPU of mali G72. Huiewei says that kirin 970 has 25 times the power and 50 times the efficiency of a quad-core chip with a Cortex A73 CPU, as used in the Kirin 960. The device with kirin 970 won’t be too hot because it’s power demands are low. Hisilicon Kirin 970 powers Huawei P20/P20 Pro, Huawei Honor V10 and Huawei Mate 10/Mate 10 Pro.
Snapdragon 835/A10 fusion
Ummm! It’s not hard to say which is more powerful Snapdragon 835 or Apple’s A10 fusion. Snapdragon 835 looks more powerful in graphics performance, plus it integrates a gigabyte LTE modem. But A10 fusion doesn’t include any LTE modem.
Snapdragon 835 powers great devices like Razer phone, OnePlus 5T/5, Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ and Sony XZ Premium while A10 fusion powers iPhone 7 and 7 plus.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium and OnePlus 5 is faster than iPhone 7. But it doesn’t mean iPhone 7 can’t run high end games smoothly. It is able to run games without any slowdown. Snapdragon 835 is a octa-core chip clocked at 2.45GHz and it is 10nm process. A10 fusion is a four core chip, it is 16nm process and a clock-rate of 2.34GHz.
Both are good and still Able to run new high end 2018’s games but snapdragon 835 is more powerful with octa-core chip, which is 10nm process.
